Still Hunkered Down

oh brave new world, that has such people in it.

I came here tonight to post some pictures but this will have to wait until I a) find my lost camera, and/or b) wade through 4,444 emails to find pics that were sent to me. I'm not kidding about the 4,444 emails. Comes from never deleting anything, although I have now made a beginning in that direction, by sorting by name and deleting large quantities at a time. I have also made a new email filter - anything with an "O" in it now goes directly to Trash; should be interesting. If you send me an email don't put any "o's" in it. heh

Don't worry, this is only temporary until I can get a handle on the situation.

Julie once had a wall in her bedroom that she called the "O" wall - she cut and pasted "O"'s all over it (insanity doesn't just run in my family, it practically gallops - ); well I have made an "O" Barrier. I can do that, if I want to (for now at least)

Now the fact that I have 4,444 emails creeps me out a little, since the Bob and I have been dealing with the number 444 on a regular basis for YEARS. At least once a day we see it, whether it's the time, or something else; this happens to BOTH of us. It may mean something, but I can tell you it's not the lottery numbers because I tested that one day. So it's just something we have learned to live with. It reminds me of the Owl Clock after my father died. (almost afraid to look at it)

And I feel the same way about it: why not just send me the freaking lottery numbers?!? why be so mysterious??? I don't have time to figure out all this crap.

Good night, and remember:
HELMETS
and chicken soup
