Bobby Trains His Dog

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

Freaking.Out.

Ok, so Bob is BACK in the hospital, to have his medicine RE-adjusted, because he was in a-fib most of the time recently.

They increased from 150 to 250 Monday and all was well. Tuesday increased to 500; all is not well. So now two doctors (residents) argue whether to decrease to 375 or 250 or stay at 500 and Bob got mad and said he wants to see Dr. Chuo (his real doctor). He will be in today.
This is the same hospital that killed Grandma, in my opinion, with a new medicine btw. bah.

And he is scheduled for bladder surgery on August 12 - a ramification of the prostate cancer stuff.
He said he asked the doctor to try to reschedule it because that is the day of my birthday. I told him it doesn't matter that it's on my birthday, but he said, "But what if I die?" I stared at him blankly because that actually never entered my head. He's right; that would ruin my birthday for every rest of my life. And also - that's the first week of my dadgum jury duty! Which I can't seem to get out of, no matter what I do. Which also will decrease our income for August by about $800, to make everything EXTRA sweet.

So we groused for awhile about why is everything so complicated and we decided it is because we are Losers (capital "L").

Now he laughs! yes, laughs, about dying on my birthday. And then I have to laugh, too; for we are both now insane. crazy us.
