Twitter

Yes, I signed up for that too, although I can find no useful purpose for it. But I am "following" Big Ben Clock and I have a big laugh every single time it BONGBONGBONGs.

Is this cause for concern?

Down Comforters...be afraid

When Lisa moved away, she left two of these in a bag in the baby's room (as I call it). So, when I decided to clean the one currently on my bed, I took one of these in, to temporarily replace the one in my room. It turned out to have been the one that was washed, instead of being dry cleaned, (WE know what we are talking about!) - consequently, being completely flat in the middle and all the pouffy stuff on the outlying edges. Thus, today, I put that one in the room and took the other one, and stuffed it in a bag called a "duvet". (This is to stop the feathers that float around me all day long.) (as if)

Now there are two down comforters shoved into the baby's room - and when you open the door, that IS ALL YOU CAN SEE. Comforters up to the ceiling. It has blocked up the whole room omg.
I am taking one to the cleaners next week; so that will be one less, - but what will I do with the two remaining? well, one, and one is on my bed. But they sure take up all the room in the house!

On the other hand, with the weather reports I hear from Florida, Lisa may be needing one of these. Although I hope not - whatever in the world would I put it in, to send it? They seem to need a full room to realize their potential.

I'm not afraid.

63 days until Spring

the temps went up into the 40's today. Mercy went out on the run and she was so happy; Bob says, "It's Spring!" Yeah, I wish.

Here's a poem for you about Spring:

Oh, scarlet hurts like some strange lust,
Mauve stills the breast with sleepy things,
Blue dreams forever...yellow laughs,
But green... green sings.

Oh, silver is a shining peace
And purple throbs like Bacchic kings.
Opal has quick, fair mysteries
But green... green sings.
(Weir Vernon)

At least I think it's about Spring. I want to have a few more Springs, that's just the way I am.

Liz is in Vermont, with the Boobster and the Kimster and the Maxster. I just texted her to send pics and I just now heard my phone go off, so maybe...

Band Aids

ok, I have a small (mostly) empty mind; but has no one ever told the band-aid people that their opening methods are for the birds? Have you ever tried to pull that little string, pull down that little flap. Oh, hell no. I just tear down the side of the whole freaking thing because experience has taught me that the other methods will.not.work. At least not without a lot of involvement from my mental despair and rage.

Why don't you just put them all, unwrapped, in one single sterile wrapped zip bag or something. My God. Life is too short. specially now.

and yes, I cut my finger.

and no, I don't know how. But I had to stop bleeding on all the pictures, somehow.
